Andrew Doona, from Co. Kerry, is a dedicated veterinary surgeon with extensive experience in animal care. After earning his degree in Veterinary Medicine from UCD in 1992, he began his career in a mixed practice in Tipperary before moving to London, where he gained valuable experience in small animal and equine practices.

In 1997, Andrew returned to Ireland and joined the Kildare practice with Kevin Maher as a partner. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the practice, always aiming to provide the best care possible.

In 2011, Andrew completed the GP Cert in Small Animal Surgery (SAS). In 2024, he further advanced his qualifications by earning the GP AdvCert in Small Animal Orthopaedic Surgery (SAOS) from the ISVPS, reflecting his commitment to enhancing his skills in veterinary orthopaedic surgery.

Andrew is skilled in small animal surgeries, with a particular interest in orthopaedics. He keeps up to date with the latest techniques and advancements by attending seminars and courses whenever possible.

His continuous pursuit of knowledge and dedication to his profession make him a respected and trusted veterinary surgeon  within  the practice and  community.
